As a guide previous conference Host sponsors have provide cash sponsorship ranging from $55 000 - $70 000. Often regions have combined with a number of organisations and state and federal departments in preparing a bid. In-kind sponsorship can also support a host region proposal. • Hosting a congress breakfast, lunch or evening function (cocktails, formal dinner, barbecue).
• Hosting a VIP function, private briefing session or business breakfast.
• Sponsoring entertainment or themeing of a function.
• Sponsoring the publication of the congress proceedings by way of CD-Rom.
• Sponsoring the field trip component of the program.
• Sponsoring a speaker at the congress.

Sponsorship in this regard is usually in the vicinity of $5500 and attracts a variety of benefits relative to the level of the sponsorship.
